Issue/Introduction

This article provide steps to determine the number of logged in users in VMware vRealize Operations Manager.

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.0.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.0.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.1.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.1.x

Resolution

To determine the number of logged in users in VMware vRealize Operations Manager:
  1. Click Environment.
  2. Expand All Objects.
  3. Expand vRealize Operations Adapter.
  4. Expand vRealize Operations Product UI.
Note: There may be multiple items under the vRealize Operations Product UI item if the cluster contains multiple data nodes.
  1. Click vRealize Operations Manager Product UI-node_name.
  2. Click the Troubleshooting tab and then All Metrics.
  3. In the metric chooser, double-click on the Number of active sessions to draw a graph of logged in users.
  4. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any other nodes listed under vRealize Operations Product UI.
