SOS password health check for vRealize components is failing intermittently

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Password health check will return the error message: "Failed to get details" for vRealze components
• Output from '/opt/vmware/sddc-support/sos --password-health':
  | 12 | vROps : vrops123.vmware.local | root | - | - | - | Failed to get details |
  | 13 | vRSLCM : vrslcm123.vmware.local | root | - | - | - | Failed to get details |
• The passwords on the vRealize appliances are correct and show no signs of any issue outside of this check.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.2.x
VMware Cloud Foundation 4.3.x

Cause

The output from 'chage -l' is occasionally clipped and returned as an empty value. This issue is intermittent and occurs due to base implementation of the SSH wrapper.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation 4.3.1 and earlier. This is resolved in version 4.4.0 and higher.

This has no environmental impact outside of the health check itself.
