Note: This log excerpt is an example. Date, time, and environmental variables may vary depending on your environment.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 2.1.x
VMware Cloud Foundation 2.0.x

Cause

This error can occur if the upgrade process is not able to properly mount the CD-ROM to the vCenter during the upgrade process. This issue can occur if vCenter Server has already had a manually mounted ISO attached using the CD-ROM. This issue may also be seen if there has been a Manually Created VM Snapshot of the vCenter Server.

Resolution

If vCenter Server already has an ISO mounted, unmount it and restart the upgrade process.

If the vCenter Server has a snapshot which has not been created by the upgrade process, delete it and re-start the upgrade process.
