Issue/Introduction

Notification rules are triggering on canceled alerts in VMware Aria Operations 8.14 and VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) when the notification rule is not configured to send a notification on canceled alerts.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) late November 2023 update, applied automatically.

This issue is resolved in VMware Aria Operations 8.14.1, available at VMware Downloads.  To resolve this issue, follow the VMware Aria Operations 8.14.1 Release Notes to upgrade your installation.
