If you have the IPv4 address for the vCenter Server Appliance, you can enable IPv6 DHCP using the Web interface.
  1. Log in to the vCenter Server Appliance Web interface at https://ipv4-address:5480.
  2. Click the Network tab.
  3. Click Address.
  4. For IPv6 Address Type, select DHCP.

If you do not have a valid IPv4 address for the vCenter Server Appliance:

  1. Use the vSphere Client or the vSphere Web Client to access the virtual machine's console.
  2. Log in to the appliance and run /opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net to configure the network.
