If you have the IPv4 address for the vCenter Server Appliance, you can enable IPv6 DHCP using the Web interface.
- Log in to the vCenter Server Appliance Web interface at https://ipv4-address:5480.
- Click the Network tab.
- Click Address.
- For IPv6 Address Type, select DHCP.
- Click Save Settings.
- Restart the vCenter Server Appliance for the settings to take effect.
If you do not have a valid IPv4 address for the vCenter Server Appliance:
- Use the vSphere Client or the vSphere Web Client to access the virtual machine's console.
- Log in to the appliance and run /opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net to configure the network.
