Organization should be system for vCloud Credentials

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Validating connection on vCloud Director Management pak throws the error

"Organization should be system for vCloud Credentials".

 

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations 8.x

Cause

This issue can be seen if you have not specified the system org in the adapter details, or if you are using an LDAP user to create the connection. Unfortunately, vCloud Director Management Pak does not support the use of LDAP users when attempting to create a vCloud Director System Credential.

Resolution

Please ensure a local user is provided for vCloud Director System Credentials.
