Issue/Introduction
- Virtual machines affected are Linux based.
Environment
- VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.x
- VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2.x
Resolution
This issue is resolved in:
- VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2.8.
- VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.2.
Workaround 1
- Migrate the virtual machine to the DLR host first without changing network
- Change networking on the virtual machine from VLAN to bridged VLAN
- Migrate to any host in the transport zone.
Workaround 2
Edit the following virtual machine settings:
- Disconnect the vNIC and Save.
- Change the vNIC from VLAN to VXLAN and Save.
- Connect the vNIC and save, traffic works because disconnect and connect would trigger GARP.
