NSX Controller stuck on deploying

Issue/Introduction

• In vSphere Web Client > Installation > Management > NSX Controller nodes, the status of controller-xx shows as deploying with the waiting circle.
• No presence of controller VM when deploying the controller.
• Delete icon is grayed out and API (DELETE api/2.0/vdn/controller/<controller-id>?forceRemoval=true) returns failed.

 

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2.x

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.x

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.x

Resolution

This needs modification on NSX DB. To mitigate this issue, please contact Broadcom Technical Support for assistance.
