Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
On stateless VMware ESXi hosts, Service Virtual Machine (SVM) appliances such as the Guest Introspection or partner appliances fail to boot.

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.0.x
VMware NSX for vSphere 6.1.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in NSX for vSphere 6.1 and later

 
If you are unable to upgrade, you can work around this issue by restarting the Service Virtual Machine (SVM) appliance manually.

To work around this issue, restart the SVM appliance manually. Alternatively, use the Resolve under Networking & Security > Installation > Service Deployments > Installation Status in the NSX Plug-in.
