DLR takes 1 to 1.5 secs for ARP resolution

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

When ARP suppression fails, local DLR's ARP resolution for a VM running in a remote host takes around 1 to 1.5 seconds.

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2.x
VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2.9 and in VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.5.

To work around this issue if you do not want to upgrade, file a support request with Broadcom Support and quote this Knowledge Base Article ID (339134) in the problem description.
