This article provides information about Palo Alto Networks Solution for VMware NSX for vSphere 6.x.

Resolution

Supported software

• Palo Alto Networks VM-Series for NSX Edition version 6.0 with VMware NSX for vSphere 6.1 and vSphere 5.5.

• Palo Alto Networks VM-Series for NSX Edition version 7.0.x, with VMware NSX version 6.1.4, 6.2 and vSphere version 6.0

Notes:

• The Palo Alto Networks solution does not support vendor templates (=profile configuration) at this time.
• Under NSX Home > Service Definition > Palo Alto Networks NGFW > Manage > Profile Configuration, the list is empty which is an expected behavior.
• Under NSX installation in the Service Deployment tab, Service Status shows unknown which is an expected behavior.
