Symptoms:
Host customization values are not preserved during the edit, in the H5 client.
Host customization values are not preserved during the edit, in the H5 client.
- For example, certain host customization properties like 'IP address' and 'Subnet address', that are under '<host profile> -> Networking configuration -> Host portgroup -> Management Network -> IP address settings' will not preserve their value after an edit operation in the UI.
Environment
VMware vCenter Server 6.5.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
Resolution
This is a known issue.
Currently, there is no solution.
Workaround:
To workaround this issue, use Flex to edit host customization.
