NSX Mananger failed to import the SSL certificate

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• NSX manager 6.4.6 failed to import the SSL certificate by following the steps in the below document-

• No error message displayed If the password is incorrect.
• Importing the certificate from NSX manager UI interface issuer details is not reflected after the reboot.
• In the vsmvam.log or using "show log appmgmt follow" command in the NSX manager CLI,  you see error similar to:

2019-10-15 16:57:08.390 GMT WARN https-jsse-nio-443-exec-14 AbstractHandlerExceptionResolver:197 - Resolved [org.springframework.web.multipart.support.MissingServletRequestPartException: Required request part 'file' is not present]

 

Environment

VMware NSX Data Center for vSphere 6.4.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX Data Center for vSphere 6.4.8

Workaround:
Certificate can be uploaded from API as below:

POST https://<NSX_IP>/api/1.0/appliance-management/certificatemanager/pkcs12keystore/nsx?password=XXXX
