Known issues in content pack for vRSLCM 8.0.1+

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Known issue 1: Historic log data from vRSLCM not getting populated in the vRLI dashboard using vRSLCM 8.0.1+ content pack.
• Known issue 2: Content Management operations dashboard not showing failures for the following events:
  • SSH Connection failed.
  • No Unit Test Workflows found.

Environment

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Cause

For known issue 2: In Content Management operations, dashboards do not show the common status (COMPLETED/FAILED).

Resolution

Currently there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To work around these issues:

1. Extract the zip log files at /var/log/vrlcm  using gunzip in the vRSLCM server to populate the dashboards also with historic log data in the vRLI server.
2. To view the failure events for No Unit Test Workflows found and SSH Connection failed in the vRLI Content Management operations dashboard, create the following queries in the Interative Analytics section in the vRLI server:

• Query 1 : 'text','contains','No Unit Test Workflows found'
• Query 2 : 'text','contains','SSH Connection failed'
