The Aria Operations / VCF Operations plugin for vCenter Server provides a convenient way for vCenter administrators to use the Aria Operations / VCF Operations UI without leaving the vSphere client.
vCenter versions 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x utilize a VMware Aria Operations / VCF Operations plugin located on the vCenter Server Appliance:
/etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity/com.vmware.vrops.install-7.0.203.10000/plugins
/usr/lib/vmware-vsphere-ui/plugin-packages/opsmgmt-client/plugins
When a new version of vCenter is installed, the Aria Operations plugin local to the vCenter will need to be manually reconfigured using the process detailed in the Resolution.
Prerequisite:
Ensure that bidirectional connectivity over port 443 is available between the vCenter Server and all VMware Aria Operations / VCF Operations nodes (Analytics and Cloud Proxy nodes)
VCF Operations 9.x
Aria Operations 8.x
VMware vCenter server 6.x, 7.x, 8.x
Note: If the vCenter integration was configured as part of VMware Cloud Foundation, the Manage Registrations option will appear as VMware Cloud Foundation Integrations.
If Aria Operations is no longer in your environment and want to remove it from the vSphere client, use the vCenter mob to remove the plugin from vCenter manually. Go to:
