Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
After vCenter High Availability triggered a vCenter Server Appliance failover event, you might see an "Insufficient Resources for HA failover" message displayed on the cluster's Summary tab if the following conditions are fulfilled:
  • vCenter High Availability enabled
  • vSphere HA enabled with:
    • Admission Control enabled
    • Failover Host configured


Environment

VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.5.x

Resolution

VMware is aware of this issue and working to resolve this in a future release

No functional impact has been identified, the message can be safely ignored.

Workaround:
  • Disable and re-enable vSphere HA after a VCHA failover event to clear the message.
