Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
After the ESXi host reboot, you may experience these symptoms:
- Security profile page on the vSphere Web Client shows the CIM Server service as Stopped even when it is running.
- Clicking the Refresh button for the Services under Security Profile page does not work when using the Web Client.
Environment
VMware vSphere ESXi 5.5
VMware vSphere ESXi 6.0
Resolution
Currently, there is no resolution.
To work around this issue:
- For vSphere Web Client, click the refresh icon located at the top of the vSphere Web Client page.
- For vSphere Client, click Refresh button located in the Services section under Security Profile.
Note: Currently, VMware is investigating to provide a more specific reason for this issue.
