Issue/Introduction

When you are trying to add NSX manager or vCenter as a data source in Aria Operations for Networks, it throws "invalid credential" error.

Cause

Aria Operations for Network is working as designed. The Aria Operations for Network User Interface was encoded with known special characters as it is based in HTML. This leads to the invalid credential error being thrown while adding a data source in Aria Operations for Network that contain these special characters.

Use passwords without HTML special character(s).

Resolution

If password string contains any of these known HTML characters it will need to be changed / updated to NOT include these:

• "
• '
• -
• ~
• ...
• %
• /
• .
• @
