Unable to load VM details in HTML 5 or Flex UI, virtual machine details appears to be stuck loading or hardware tab is blank.

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• You have upgraded a previously working virtual machine to HW15
• You have imported a new HW15 virtual machine to vCloud Director
• Other non-HW15 virtual machines work normally
• You cannot view virtual machine details in the HTML 5 interface
• You cannot load the Hardware tab in the Flex UI

Cause

vCloud Director does not currently support management of hardware version 15 virtual machines.

Resolution

There is currently no known resolution. VMware plans to fix in a future release.

Workaround:
In order to properly view and manage your virtual machines in this state you must downgrade your virtual machine to hardware version 14 or previous hardware version.
