Workaround:
To workaround the issue, disable the alert for the Management Pack for Horizon adapter:
- In the VMware Aria Operations product UI, navigate to Configure > Policies
- Click "Add" to add a policy, or select the current policy in use and click "Edit Policy"
- In the Create New Policy window, assign a name to the policy, and enter the description as desired. Give the policy a meaningful name and description so that all users know the purpose of the policy.
- From the "Inherit From" dropdown, select the policy to use as a baseline to define the settings for your new local policy
- Click Create Policy
- Click on the "Alerts and Symptoms" tile
- From the "All Filters" dropdown, select "Name" and enter "Objects are not receiving data from adapter instance" to locate the definition in question
- Click the dropdown in the "State" column, and change the state to "Disabled"
- Click on the "Symptom Definitions" tab, and follow steps 7-8 again here
- Click "Save"
- Click on the "Groups and Objects" tile, and then the "Objects" tab
- Enter "Horizon Adapter Instance" in the "Select Object Type" field
- Tick the boxes of the adapter instances you wish to disable this alert for
Note: This procedure will disable the 'Objects are not receiving data from adapter instance' alert only for the Management pack for Horizon Adapter instance
- Click "Save"
