When we attempt to install PAM Agent or Orchestrator from the configuration browser, JAVAWS starts and disappears.

Issue/Introduction

  During Agent/Orchestrator installation the JAVAWS appears to launch and disappears immediately.
   How can we continue and complete the install?

Release: ITPASA99000-4.3-Process Automation-Add On License for-CA Server Automation

Resolution

We can start the install using below command on Windows then follow the prompts to complete the install.

- Javaws -viewer

  On *NIX Platforms

  Follow these steps if the Jnlp launcher is not getting launched from the browser.

- Go to the tmp directory and using Javaws command, run the Jnlp launcher

  Javaws -verbose <Jnlp filename>
