Issue/Introduction

This article provides the method to change the date format from MM/DD/YY to DD/MM/YY in the vRealize Automation portal.

Symptoms:

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 6.2.x

Cause

The date format displayed in the portal was MM/DD/YY prior to vRealize Automation release 6.2.4.

vRealize Automation release 6.2.4 and later versions use the date format based on the language/locale of your browser.

Resolution

To change the date format, set the language/locale in your browser to a locale that supports the date format DD/MM/YY.

For example:

English/Ireland [en-ie]
German/Germany [de-de]
English/United Kingdom [en-gb]
Italian [it]
