Issue/Introduction

To explain the workaround when dummy opaque networks are seen in vCenter

Symptoms:
There are dummy opaque networks on VC with type "nsx.logicalswitch" after migration from NSX-T NVDS to CVDS

Opaque network is visible from vCenter side however the vNICs for VMs are connected to a different segment

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

There are snapshots of VMs still connected to the legacy opaque network

Resolution

Remove the snapshots of VMs still connected to the legacy opaque network

Workaround:
Remove the snapshots of VMs still connected to the legacy opaque network
