Issue/Introduction

VMware Aria Operations (formerly known as vRealize Operations) depends on accurate vApp properties in order to boot and configure its network.
In some cases, such as restore from backup or disaster recovery using SRM, those properties might get lost.
This article describes how to restore the vApp properties of VMware Aria Operations 8.12 and Below.

For VMware Aria Operations 8.14 and later, see Restoring the vApp properties in VMware Aria Operations 8.14 and Later .
For VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) Cloud Proxies, see Restoring vApp properties in VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) Cloud Proxy.
