Scoreboard widget cannot display more than 100 items in vRealize Operations Manager 6.x

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

A scoreboard widget displays the error:

Too many items are selected. Can't show more than 100 items.

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.1.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.3.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.4.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.5.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.2.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.0.x

Cause

This issue occurs when there is a hard limit set to display up to 100 items per scoreboard widget.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting vRealize Operations Manager 6.x.

Currently, there is no resolution.

To work around this issue, create multiple scoreboard widgets to collectively display the desired number of items.
