SSL VPN fails when using Mac OS Sierra or El Capitan on NSX

Issue/Introduction

On an NSX for vSphere 6.3.x environment with SSL VPN configured and enabled, you experience these symptoms:

• SSL VPN fails on a Mac OS Sierra or El Capitan
• Windows based machines are not affected
• You see the error:
  
  Connection to the gateway has been terminated due to server certificate validation failure.

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.3.

To work around this issue, disable Block user on certificate validation feature when creating the Installation Package.
