Upgrade fail with below errors in PatchRunner.log:

Installer error :

Cause

• The reason vmafd patch fails is because Likewise restart fails.
• Likewise restart fails because stopping of the likewise managed services (during the restart phase) takes more than 60s which is the timeout value specified post which systemd force kills the services. This results in child processes still running as left over processes.
• Due to the left-over processes, the likewise start (during restart) also fails as likewise isn't properly terminated and is still running as a zombie process.
• Now, the reason for this slowness in Likewise restart is because of the process vmafd.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in 7.0 U3f.
