Issue/Introduction

Symptom:

Fails to add the LDAP group in LDAP authentication wizard.

 

The following error is displayed: The secLdap plugin to get the dn for the group CN=Users,DC=domain,DC=com.

Cause

The CN=Users is not a valid group name, it is actually a container name.

Environment

Release: SPDBIP99000-9.4-Spectrum-Device Based Suite-IP Services Manager
Component: CABI 3.3 SP1

Resolution

Create a group for BOXI users, and add the members.

Example: BoxiUsers

 

Supply the BoxiUsers Distinguished Name in the LDAP authentication wizard.

 

Example: CN=BoxiUsers,CN=Users,DC=domain,DC=com
