Copycat exit CTCOPYUX does not always maintain the last used information correctly.

Issue/Introduction

The exit, CTCOPYUX is coded to maintain the "last used information" from the input tape on the output tape.  It is working for most tapes that are being copied but not all, why?

 

Resolution

When the CTCOPYUX exit is coded to maintain the "last used information", and if the tape being copied is on the same day as it was created, the "last used information" will not be maintained as requested.  This is the design of the product.  If you wait at least 1 day before you do the copy the "last used information" will be maintained.
