Issue/Introduction

Detail how Customers can resolve this issue without having to restart VPXA/VPXD.


Symptoms:

An SRM task is hung in the vCenter server recent tasks list

Resolution

Engage VMware Support - Creating and managing Broadcom support cases
Include the following information:

  • SDDC ID which has the hung task
  • The time at which this hung task was started



Additional Information

Impact/Risks:

Customers will be unable to create new protection groups due to the hung task.
