Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Site Recovery activated on Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), but SRM server not accessible.

Cause

Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and vSphere Replication are not stand-alone services, but extensions of vCenter. Because of this, when Site Recovery is enabled, only internal IP addresses are configured.

Resolution

This is normal.

Workaround:
Use a jumpbox system to access internal systems.
