[VMC] Unable to clone more than 8 VMs at once

Issue/Introduction

Detail the known limitation.

Symptoms:
Customer is attempting to clone multiple VMs at once time but the VMC vCenter will not process more than 8 VMs at once.
Customer needs to recreate a Horizon VDI Desktop Pool but is limited to rebuilding the VMs in sets of 8.
Any VM clone operations beyond 8 at a time will be sitting waiting to be processed.


Cause

VMC vCenters by default have the config.vpxd.ResourceManager.maxCostPerHost configuration set to 8 across the fleet.

Resolution

There is no resolution to this issue as it is a known limitation of VMC vCenters.

Work with your VMC Account team to enter a VMC Feature Request should you wish to see this configuration be changeable on the VMC platform.
