Issue/Introduction

Detail the cause to this scenario.

Symptoms:
Customer is monitoring the VMC SDDC Mgmt-ResourcePool VMs and notices that the NSX Manager VMs reboot one after another.
Customer sees vCenter activities such as Reboot, Reconfigure, Guest OS Shutdown, or other such VM configuration or power related activities occurring on NSX Manager Unified Appliance VMs.
There is no impact to the customer workloads or Mgmt-Plane reachability due to the HA Configuration of the NSX Managers.
The NSX Manager VMs only go through one reboot cycle, not repeated reboots back to back to back.

Cause

On-going VMC Maintenance to the management appliances.

Resolution

These actions occur in line with high priority updates, and patching that may occur outside of standard upgrade procedures and are done to proactively protect the VMC Fleet from newly identified security issues. These actions will be performed sequentially across the NSX Manager Unified Appliance cluster in a rolling fashion to not impact the accessibility of NSX Management services.
This will cause no impact to the workload VMs networking ability or the ability to manage the Mgmt-Plane of the SDDC due to the HA configuration of the NSX Managers.
