To resolve this issue, perform one of these options:

    To disable UAC:
  1. Go to Control Panel > User Accounts.
  2. In the User Account Tasks window, click Turn User Account on or off.
  3. Deselect Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer option and click OK.
  4. Reboot the virtual machine after disabling UAC.
  • If you have Administrator privileges and do not want to disable UAC, Launch vCenter Standalone Converter selecting Run as Administrator.
