Installing ESXi 5.5 on Daktech host fails with the message: initializing ACPI

Issue/Introduction
During installation of ESXi 5.5 on a Daktech host, you experience these symptoms:
- The installation does not complete and the Daktech server reboots
- ESXi 5.5 Update 2 fails to load
- The installation fails and you see the message:
initializing ACPI
Cause
The cause of this issue is the default BIOS configuration, specifically the BIOS option MMIO regions larger than 4GB is enabled.
Resolution
To resolve this issue and enable the ESXi installation to complete you must disable the BIOS option MMIO regions larger than 4GB.
To disable the MMIO above 4GB option and install ESXi 5.5 on the Daktech host:
- Open the Daktech server BIOS menu.
- Go to Advance > PCI configuration > MMIO above 4GB.
- Select the Disable option.
- Save changes and exit the BIOS.
- Complete the ESXi 5.5 installation.
