Invalid license - no metrics are being collected warning on Aria Operations for Integrations adapters in Aria Operations.

Issue/Introduction

• Aria Operations for Integrations management packs older than version 9.0 will stop collection on all adapters if the installed license count is exceeded.
• Hovering over the adapter status in Integrations will display the following warning.
  • Invalid license - no metrics are being collected.

vRealize Operations 8.x
Aria Operations for Integrations management packs
vRealize True Visibility Suite management packs

Resolution

• Review the Interoperability Matrix to ensure your version of Aria Operations supports the 9.x management pack.
  • Upgrade Aria Operations if it is not compatible with the required 9.x management pack.
• Browse to the Marketplace and search for the required 9.x version of the management pack.
• Take snapshots of all the nodes in the Aria Operations cluster before upgrading to the latest 9.x version of the management pack.

Additional Information

• Version 9.x will not check for the specific management pack license and instead it consumes the Aria Operations License itself.
• Version 9.x of the management pack will allow collection to continue even if the Aria Operations License usage exceeds capacity.
