Locating Missing vROps Metrics in SAP

Issue/Introduction
Using the SAP Management Pack, sometimes in vROps you may see a blue box with a question mark on a particular metric in a dashboard. This indicates that the management pack was unable to find the metric or get data back on it.
In the example below, you can see that both "CPU Capacity" and "Paging Area Use" for an SAP System are not being collected and are unknown.
The next step would be to connect to the SAP environment. In the example below, we connected using a web browser to launch the SAP Java applet.

- If you are able to find the metric in SAP, but are still getting a blue "?" in vROps, please open a support ticket with VMware.
- If you cannot locate the metric, then the environment is simply not able to return the metric we specified in the dashboard. This is common, as SAP can be configured in many ways, and our dashboards were created with metrics that we most often see in the field. In this case, the dashboard can be edited to filter out the missing metrics that your SAP environment is not configured to use.
