Issue/Introduction

• Error when accessing Configuration Manager on Watch4net http://####:58080/dojoviews/view.html?viewname=ConfigurationManager:

Environment

M&R - 7.x

Cause

The EMC Smarts Solution Pack is not configured to give access to Configuration Manager

Resolution

1. Log into SA Suite Centralized Management
    http://<w4n frontend>:####/centralized-management/#/physical
2. On the left hand tree expand SolutionPacks > Infrastructure > EMC Smarts
3. Click the pencil next to the Reports component
   
4. Click Add a new Presentation SAM configuration and click the box for Use Smarts Configuration Manager
   
5. Ensure that the Smarts Configuration Manager Domain name is correct and matches what is running on the smarts host.
6. Verify changes on the Smarts host
   1. SSH into Smarts host
   2. cd dir/SAM/smarts/bin
   3. Run ./brcontrol
   4. Confirm Configuration Manager is running
7. Click Reconfigure and then restart Tomcat
