Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
- Cannot vMotion a virtual machine
- vMotion fails at 10%
- You see the general system error:
0xbad003f
- Running the vmkping command reports this error for at least one host:
getaddrinfo() for "hostname" failed (success)

Cause
This issue occurs if the VMkernel port group is corrupted.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, remove and recreate the vSwitch and recreate the port group.
