Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) does not apply consistently when configured with Group Policy client-side extension

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Settings are not applied consistently when Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) is configured for Group Policy client-side extension.
• The Group Policy Object (GPO) has been created on one domain controller and then is copied to others.

Cause

Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM)  includes ADMX templates that are required to configure the GPO. For the GPO to be applied to other domain controllers, they must also have a copy of the ADMX template.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the ADMX template for Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM)  is available on the domain controller where the GPO is being linked.
