Issue/Introduction

• This article provides steps to skip path-based import/export, Offline import, DirectFlex refresh, and DEM refresh for a single user in VMware Dynamic Environment Manager.

Resolution

To stop FlexEngine for path-based import/export, Offline import, DirectFlex refresh, and UEM refresh for single user:

 

1. Navigate to the users profile archive folder.
2. Create a FlexDisable.txt file in the root of the profile archive folder.
   
   For example: ProfileArchivePath\FlexDisable.txt
   
   Note: When FlexDisable.txt exists, a message about this is logged in the FlexEngine.log file.
