At r18.5, batch jobs for IDMSLOOK and OLQ, if they have characters in columns 73-80 fail with syntax errors. IDMSLOOK - Invalid Parameter Entered; OLQ 092002 08 Invalid parameter card found in the EMPLOYEE QFILE definition. What is causing these errors?
Answer:
For IDMSLOOK, this problem occurs when utility in batch mode reads data in columns 73 to 80. PTF RO86433 Title: LOOK IN BATCH READS COLUMN 73 corrects this error. Or to circumvent the error, remove any data in columns 73-80 and rerun the IDMSLOOK batch utility.
For batch OLQ, the delimiter - semicolon ";" should be used at the end of an input line which denotes - ignore everything after this on this line.
IDMSLOOK has no delimiter – OLQBATCH does.
