The domain network environment must be configured to ensure that name resolution occurs in a timely manner. A default setting of 30 seconds is used in Smarts for all DNS calls.
If this time limit threshold for DNS replies cannot be met because of environment conditions, the following parameter can be added to the Smarts
local/conf/runcmd_env.sh file to increase the name resolution timeout:
SM_AUTHORITY_TIMEOUT=<1-600>
To apply this change to the active environment, the domain must be restarted.
