Smarts: Why dont I see Session Disconnect Notifications for Trap Adapters to SAM / OI like I do with other domain managers

Symptoms:
When underlying domains like AM, MPLS etc disconnect from a SAM domain a notification is created in the console but none are created when a trap adapter disconnects

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS
Resolution
Smarts is working as designed. A trap adapter is not part of a SAM / OI ICS Domain configuration list so notifications are not created when there is a disconnect. Only domains added via the ICS Domain configuration list will generate a disconnect alarm.
In order to have this feature it would require custom code / professional services
