Resolution
To remove a decommission device from topology, bring up the Domaim Manager Administrator Console (DMAC) or Topology Browser Console. Then do the following:
1. Locate the device that you wanted to remove from topology in either the Topology Browser or Domain Manager
2. Right click on the device to bring up the submenu
3. Select the "Delete" option
Now you've removed the decommissioned device from the topology.
