Smarts ESM: How to monitor a service that contains '.' in the path?

Resolution

If the service you want to monitor in Smarts Server Manager contains  '.' in its path (i.e. D:\APG\bin\.runtime\service\1.6\prunsrv.exe) then you must change the flag below:

UseFullProcessPath 

to FALSE in the threshold settings, as per below screenshot:
