How is SAM dealing with events coming from SMARTS IP based in different time zones ?
Does Smarts have the ability to synchronise between IP Domains from different time zones.

According to the Configuration Guide, regarding First and Last notify if you have the following scenario:

Smarts Console -> SAM domain -> Underlying Smarts IP domain -> device

The First and Last notify values displayed in the console are picked up from the underlying IP managing the device, and are using the IP's system clock.

The time which will be displayed in the SAM Notification Log Console is the date and time of the timezone where the SAM server is running.

For example :
IP Server is running in local time 10 am.
SAM Server and Console are running in local time 1 pm.

There is a Device Down which is generated on the IP Server at 10 AM, which is equivalent to 1PM at the place where SAM is running.

The event will show the Last Notify and First Notify as 1 PM (SAM Server time).
