Issue/Introduction

This article explains the meaning of the warnings seen in the Smarts IP Domain Manager domain logs:

Example Log snippet:

[<Date & Time>] t@<epoch> Partition-DisplayName-Driver ASL_MSG-*-ASLP-discovery/ic-partition-name.asl: Warning: partition.conf: Line ##: <Name> does not belong to any partition.

Resolution

This warning means that this device doesn't have any L2/L3 connection to other devices, L2 and L3 neighbors are not discovered.
Smarts is working as designed here.
