Symptoms:

After Disassociating A VRRP/HSRP IP From A Router Why Does The Corresponding VRRP/HSRP IP Network Remain In IPNetwork.

I.e., ConnectedVia - IPNetwork

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

The reason for this is that the IP is part of a VRRP configuration and at the moment this is active on the router and hence it will create an IPNetwork for the same.

Resolution

Remove the router from the VRRP group.
