Symptoms:




While starting a SAM domain using sm_server the following error is seen in the logs

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

In the domain start-up command ICF was used.
 
./sm_server -n DOMAIN NAME --output --daemon -c icf

Resolution

Replace -c icf with -c ics and the domain will start fine.
(-c icf is for AM-PM domains)

Smarts SAM:  ./sm_server -n <DOMAIN NAME> --output --daemon -c ics
